Postage, Packing and Returns (simplified)
Postage
Most items are despatched on the same day if ordered before 1 pm. They will be either Royal Mail 1st class or 2nd class recorded. The Royal Mail estimates 3 – 5 days for 2nd class and 2 – 3 days for 1st class (although they usually arrive in less than those estimates).
As it is Royal Mail and the items need to be signed for we can’t specify leaving items with a neighbour or outside under a bush etc (unless you know your post 'person' really well and they know what to do!) We can put a little note on the parcel but it would be up to the discretion of the deliverer whether to carry out the request and at your own risk.
Bush Baby back carriers and larger items are usually despatched on Parcel Force 24 or 48 hours. Much larger items can be 7 - 10 days for delivery i.e. cots and mattresses but you will be contacted for suitable delivery time with a different carrier other than Parcel Force.
Your postage cost can be seen if you add the item to the shopping basket and view cart without obligation to purchase, as an estimate all orders over £60 are free, orders under £16 are £2 and over £16 is £4 should you wish to empty cart just select item and click on the ‘delete’ link in blue or just close the browser.
Packing
Packaging is kept to a minimum so that we can keep our prices competitive, less for you to throw away and the hippy bit, save the environment (bubble wrap if need be, and then you can have great fun bursting bubbles!).
Returns
We must request that you contact us before making any returns and we will issue a returns number, the item will need to be with us within 28 days of purchase. We will refund upon receipt of the item or send out another. In the case of manufacturing fault then we will refund you the postage costs of sending back. Make sure you send it recorded, covering the value of the item and in all original packaging with labels attached. Oi Oi and Skip-Hop bags have a 6 month manufacturing warrantee.
